A perfectly imperfect ordinary woman writing straight from the heart to make sense of her life and discover her usefulness…
The hand behind the pen is a perfectly imperfect Indian woman in pursuit of making sense of her life. She holds Masters degree in ‘Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry’ and a medical writer by profession.
Though her degree gives her wide exposure to life sciences, chemistry, medicine & research and makes her ideal candidate for scientific & medical writing, she is more of a ‘writer’ than a ‘medical writer.’ Yes. She is an aspiring writer by passion.
In her journey of life, while running the race in her academic & professional life, she realised one day that she was running the wrong way and in the wrong race. As said, ‘sometimes it takes a good fall to really know where you stand’, she too fell and fell badly. However, there was a hand that pulled her back.
It was her Lord. His Divine Book ‘Qur’an’ healed the ruined soul, helped the fallen woman up to run again, the right way in the right race. Meanwhile, she resigned from her job, got married to a gentleman and started a new chapter in her life.
Alhamdulillaah. She is a student of knowledge and a devoted homemaker today. Currently, she is pursuing ‘Hifdh’ of ‘Holy Qur’an’ and other Qur’anic studies. She writes occasionally now as a freelance medical writer. An ardent reader in religion & spirituality, she possesses diverse interests in other fields of knowledge especially science and medicine.
Her love for Qur’an and the ever-expanding appetite for reading rekindled the spark within her to write herself to make others read. She aspires to inspire others through the beautiful teachings of Islam by sharing her allure with the human soul and all that is around, her beautiful encounters in life, and the new lessons of course.
After reading & writing, she loves ‘cooking’ & ‘colours’ the most. Her fascination for cooking often reflects in her writing as well. She paints her ideas on canvas to add colours in life and often posts them too or simply hangs them on walls.
Though she doesn’t believe in multitasking, she is simply addicted to listening to her favourite scholars and speakers while doing her house chores, while walking, while travelling…(and, she can listen to them all day long). If not listening, she loves to watch documentaries and Nat Geo (and, cooking channels).
Having said that, before anything else, she is a family person. She loves to spend time in her cosy home. Outside her home, she is reserved and introvert. Even though she knows many people and have a friendly relation with most of them, she prefers a small circle of close friends (and, very friendly with them). Her being a bit conservative and quite unstylish, there is not much to tell about her persona.
At the end of the day, she is a perfectly imperfect ordinary woman writing straight from the heart to make sense of her life and discover her usefulness. She is an imperfect slave of her Perfect Lord.
