Tea is ultimate relaxation.
It is a feast for your senses to smell the aroma the tea spreads when brewed.
The cultural component of tea is vast and interesting.
It makes tea truly appealing that how healthy and versatile it can be.
The chemistry hidden in tea leaves is simply mind-blowing.

However, it’s not the reason why she loves her tea today. That’s something else.

She loves ‘T’ because ‘T’ stands for thought and thought is to expand the experience of being alive.

And drinking tea is like taking a mini-vacation. It gives you a break when you and everything else around you, is simply running. You take a break and you think. While sipping tea, you get an opportunity to tame the train of thoughts when we have a lot going on.

While sipping from your cup of tea, staring in nowhere out of the window, you are just contemplating…

That old man that followed you on your way back from the school
Those mistakes that shaped you forever
The latest promotion you just had
That one brave move that changed everything
That lady you met on the bus
That smallest bone in your ear
Your awesome friends who love you like anything
Those clouds looking like a laughing face
The dreams you see every other night
Those medicines that caused the reaction
A future plan that you are not quite sure about
Their awkward silence when you first entered the family
The subject you chose for your thesis
The flood of tears when your trust was first betrayed
The silent prayers that keep you going…

Anything can be the subject for contemplation, and even a small breakthrough is a joyful experience. To become conscious of something that you were not conscious of before is an enlightenment experience of your very being.

To think is amazing.
To think is beautiful.
To think is blessed.

While enjoying her tea, she usually takes pause. As the sips awaken the mind, she thinks what she sees, what she hears and what she feels.

It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling, and understanding: little thanks it is ye give! [Al-Qur’an; 23: 78]

And, she feels thankful for all she has and for being conscious of that.

She takes a break & thinks.
After all, ‘T’ stands for ‘Thoughts’.

She invites you all over the tea to share her thoughts about the mundane world and its day-to-day happenings that others have taken for granted.

Enjoy the tea and the thoughts!
